“The Train”: Facts, Faith and Feelings

Our culture embraces feelings as objective fact. D.J. Mahaney in Living the Cross Centered Life states:

Our common tendency is to habitually begin with the internal, the subjective, the experiential, then use those feelings and impressions to determine what we’ll accept as being objective fact. We let our feelings tell us what’s true, instead of letting the truth transform our feelings. In our arrogance, we invest our feelings with final authority.

In this seminar we will explore our feelings.

Next, we will examine our belief systems, or our functional theology.

And finally, what facts we base our lives on.

Have we subtly accepted our culture’s lies?

Or do we base our lives on the truth of scripture and the love of Jesus Christ?

Seminars are available in several formats: Sunday School presentations, weekend retreats, women’s seminars and teas, MOPS, and Nursery School outreach.
Counseling sites: Ambler, Dublin, Roslyn, Doylestown, and Southampton.
